One intelligence, many products.
Most companies bolt a separate AI onto every product. Aftaris is the opposite: a single intelligence core — models, tools, memory and agents — that every Aftermath platform calls through one gateway. Each product adds its own knowledge, persona and permissions on top.
Not a chatbot
A shared infrastructure layer, not a feature inside one app.
Model-independent
The Aftaris brand stays constant while the engine underneath improves.
Governed by design
Privacy, evaluation and human approval sit above every model.
Owned outright
Proprietary intelligence built and held by Aftermath — not rented.
Built to reason, see, remember and act.
The core is developed as composable capabilities, each callable through one versioned API and routed to the right model for the task.
Reason
Conversation, question answering, structured output and business reasoning — multilingual, including English and Maltese.
See
Vision that understands scenes and activity — orchestrating specialist models that turn camera streams into structured events.
Remember
Layered memory — session, user, platform and business — retrieved in context, never by dumping databases into a prompt.
Act
Controlled tools with authentication, permissions and audit — with confirmation gates on anything sensitive.
Orchestrate
Supervised agents that plan and execute across the group's tools — proposing actions for human approval, never running unchecked.
Route
A model router sends each task to the right engine — fast, core or specialist — controlling latency and cost.
Platforms never touch a model directly.
Every request flows through one gateway — authenticated, policy-checked, given context, routed to the right model, and allowed to use tools only under permission.

Response
It learns the real world our platforms run.
Aftaris doesn't just host a model — it understands the operational environments Aftermath's products create. Each platform specialises the same core.
Insuq
Powers Toby — theory, lessons and student progress — and, in time, reasons over on-road driving events into coaching and readiness insight.
BarberData
Turns bookings, queues, chair use and shop activity into operational intelligence — spotting lost capacity before an owner would.
AI Data
Extends that intelligence to salons, retail and SMEs — combining vision, operations and history into evidence-backed recommendations.
Built in careful, reversible steps.
Aftaris is rolled out one capability at a time. External AI stays wired as a fallback until Aftaris proves itself on independent evaluation.
Foundation
Serving, model registry and baseline inference on managed GPU.
Gateway
One API for every platform — routing, fallback and per-call cost telemetry.
First pilot
A low-risk Insuq capability, run in shadow then released to a fraction of traffic.
Learning pipeline
Structured event ontologies, governed datasets and frozen evaluation sets.
Specialisation
Domain fine-tunes, promoted to production only when they beat the current model.
Expansion
BarberData, AI Data and vision orchestration on the same core.
Intelligence you can trust to run a business.
Privacy first
GDPR by design. Operational data, analytics and training are kept separate — no facial recognition, no training on personal data without a lawful basis.
Human-approved
Agents propose; people decide. Anything sensitive — money, messages, records — passes a human first.
Proven before promoted
A new model earns production only by beating the current one on frozen evaluations — tested in shadow, released to a fraction of traffic first.
Improves from outcomes
Aftaris learns from real corrections and results through a governed pipeline — sharper at the work the platforms actually do.
The honest answers.
Is Aftaris live? +
Aftaris is in active development. It progressively powers Aftermath's platforms and replaces external AI only after it proves itself on independent evaluations. We don't claim capabilities it doesn't have yet.
What models does it use? +
Aftaris starts from strong open-weight foundation models and specialises them for the group's work. The brand stays constant while the engine improves — and external providers remain a fallback until Aftaris matches them.
Is my data used to train it? +
Operational data, analytics and model training are kept strictly separate. Training uses only approved, privacy-filtered data with a lawful basis — never passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information.
Does it replace human judgement? +
No. Agents draft and recommend; people approve. Sensitive actions — financial, legal, or anything affecting a person — always pass through a human.
Who builds Aftaris? +
Aftaris is developed in-house by Aftermath Ltd., a company registered in Malta (C110654).
